Why we expect these numbers
GTA 6 launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X, machines with roughly RTX 2070-class graphics, an 8-core Zen 2 CPU and about 13 GB of usable unified memory backed by very fast storage. A PC port normally needs more raw hardware than a console to match it, because the console version is tuned to one exact configuration.
That pushes the practical minimum to a 6-core CPU from 2019 onwards, 16 GB of system memory and a card with at least 8 GB of video memory. Mechanical hard drives are the biggest risk in a streamed open world — budget for an SSD before anything else.
